Sweet Potato Roll with Cream Cheese Filling
This sweet treat always makes an appearance at our Thanksgiving table. The year Mom chose to make another dessert instead, she heard lots of protests!
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup baked sweet potato pulp, mashed with fork
- 3/4 cup cake flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
