Souvlaki
Greek souvlaki skewers made with tender cuts of pork tenderloin marinated in a flavorful mixture of lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, and oregano. Eat off the skewers or serve the pork in pita breads with creamy tzatziki sauce.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup soy sauce or salt to taste
- 1 medium lemon, juiced
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 3 pounds pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 medium yellow onions, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 medium green bell peppers, cut into 1-inch pieces
