Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef
Tender beef strips cooked in a sweet and savory soy-based sauce with garlic and ginger. Served over rice or noodles – easy and delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 pound flank steak, cut into bite- size pieces
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons olive oil 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic 3 large green onions, sliced
- diagonally into 1/2 inch pieces 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
