Burger buns topped with seasoned meat and cheese, baked like open-face pizzas.

- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 (15 ounce) can pizza sauce
- 1 (4 ounce) can mushroom stems
- and pieces, drained
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 6 hamburger buns, split and
