- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornmeal

- 4 cube steaks, about 1 to 1 1/4-pounds
- 1/2 cup canola oil

- 12 ounces breakfast sausage, small diced (patties may be used and broken into small pieces)
