Caprese Salad with Heirloom Tomatoes & Burrata
For a gorgeous take on a classic caprese, make this healthy salad recipe with heirloom tomatoes in various colors, shapes and sizes. Swapping regular mozzarella for creamy burrata makes this summer salad even more special--but it's still incredibly easy to make.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
- 2 cups baby arugula
- 4 cups sliced heirloom tomatoes
- 4 ounces burrata, sliced
- ½ cup basil chiffonade (see tip)
- ¼ teaspoon flaky sea salt, such as maldon
