Cantonese Barbecued Pork
Also known as char siu, this pork is marinated in a sweet-savory red sauce and roasted to a caramelized finish. A Chinese BBQ classic, perfect for rice dishes or noodle bowls.

- 1/2 teaspoon chinese five-spice powder
- 4 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 pounds pork shoulder roast 1 tablespoon honey
